he
recreated 28th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry is a New England- based
Civil War living history organization founded in 1984 to portray the
fighting men of the Irish Brigade's famous "Faugh a Ballagh"
regiment. Our impression is of a battle-tested, veteran unit as it appeared
during the Gettysburg campaign of summer 1863.
